It has been observed that many customers use overhead cranes for steel handling. It takes two or more people to unload a truck: one to operate the crane, and a rigger to separate the steel using hand tools such as prybars, and rigging the steel using slings. This task involved constant pinch points hazard for the rigger. In addition, the rigger faced additional hazards as he / she would have to climb up and down from the trailer, attaching and detaching slings, so 'slips, trips and fall' hazards increased the risk for personal injury.

Sometimes customers use magnets to pick up a single item or multiple items, depending on the weight of the plates and the thickness of the plates, but again it is difficult for single operator to control both crane and Magnet Controls.

Impression System developed single point Remote control for operating both crane operation and Magnet operation along with integration of Load display. Ergonomic design of the remote control allows for comfortable and accurate control of the magnet system and Crane controls.

Crane has one Radio remote with two signal receivers. One is used for crane Long Travel, Cross travel & Hoist movement. Second receiver is installed on EPM system which performs the clamping and de-clamping of the job.

Handling and lifting large material and heavy loads may need simultaneous lifting by two cranes (even Three / Four cranes) controlled at the same time.

When cranes work in this mode, it is said that they are operating in Tandem mode. Impression systems has the expertise to run operations in Tandem mode. The cranes are controlled by a common Radio Remote for easier operation and a more ergonomic control. It, therefore, acts as a master transmitter.

For a safe operation of cranes in tandem mode without disruption of the communication between the cranes, the operational safety of the system must be guaranteed at all the times.

We have the capability to ensure that both cranes, are at all times, running in perfect synchronized mode to ensure that the load being lifted does not fall down and the operator do not suffer any accident.
